1000 Remarkable Universities of the World 2017-Included Only 4 Pakistani Universities
The fall of higher education in Pakistan has been declared internationally. And the American Institute Times Higher Education has removed three Pakistani universities from one of the most renowned universities in its recent rating regarding the universities worldwide, in the last year’s ranking, 1,000 Pakistani universities in last year’s rankings However, among the 188 public and private universities in Pakistan, only 4 Pakistani universities have been included in one of the leading universities in which Sindh University is not included.
The name of three Pakistani universities have been removed on unexpected performance in the recent US Department Times rankings. They include Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, University of Lahore and Karachi University. The University of Sindh excluding one thousand universities in Karachi’s university has been out of rank rating.
While 4 of the universities have been included in this category, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad has joined 500 best universities, with significant improvements in its last position, while Comsats Institute of Information Technology and the National University of Science & Technology is included in 601 to 800 and the Agricultural University Faisalabad 801 category.
Remember that in the Times Education Classification Report released last year, 601 to 800 top ranking universities was included COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, National University of Science and Technology and Quaid-I-Azam University. While the Agriculture University of Faisalabad, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, University of Karachi and University of Lahore was present in the list of 801.
According to the classification of “Times Education Department” in this year 2017 world’s top ten universities include India’s 30, Saudi Arabia 5, Malaysia’s 8, China 60, Japan’s 71, Iran’s 14, Turkey’s 16 and North Korea’s are 27 universities.
